Multimedia in digital is the use of more than one technique to convey information, such as text, 

images, Video, sound, animation or infographics. The combination of these things can make your 

websiteet much more interactive.

Although Nike has a wide target audience their website currently is focusing on children and people 

who are diferently abled.  

The first thing you see on the website is a video and although it does not have sound it does include 

some fun animation. There are a lof of pictures and also some scrolling text. 




 

They are using the videos to give a fun feel and portray the product in use, this is very effective and 

gives you a much clearer view of the product than just a photo could.

Although the site is aimed at children it is really there to help teachers and parents educate children 

that might be stuck at home at this time. 


The home page is fairly simple in that it mostly has images and text but clicking through to other pages

 you will find videos, sounds and even animated games to help teach. 

 




 

All these things combined make the learning experience much more interactive and varied and are

 really helpful for keeping children interested and engaged.

women. 


 

The home page of the website is photos and scrolling text but if you read the articles there are  gifs and 

videos embedded in them, this makes the articles informative but not too heavy. 

 

 

 

There is also a link to their inctc channel where you can find videos on a variety of subjects. 

 


 

The use of multimedia on this website makes it easy to find process information, the use of the gifs in 

articles also makes it light and fun.
